Role: BDR Manager

Location: Cork - Hybrid

Salary: €50k Base + Double OTE

Offering a range of solutions across telecoms, networking, and IT services. The business has continued to grow over the last few years while also making multiple acquisitions, cementing its place as a leader in the space. The BDR Manager will be responsible for building and growing a brand new team which is expected to be five to start.

 

As the BDR Manager for this tech company, you will be responsible for managing a team, helping to coach and teach them to ensure they achieve their targets. The BDR Manager's team will be responsible for setting up new opportunities for the senior account executives in the team to close. This is a great opportunity for someone that has managed BDR/SDR teams and is ready for the next step with a fast-growing and exciting team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train and develop a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) whose role consists of prospecting, pipeline building, and opportunity identification
  • Develop BDRs into sales-ready candidates for future Account Executive positions
  • Create metrics for monthly objectives
  • Motivate to exceed objectives through coaching, regular broadcast of results, and creative incentives
  • Regularly report on team/team member results - quantity & quality of leads and revenue to Sales Managers
  • Establish and nurture relationships with Key Partners

 

Requirements and skills:

  • At least 3 years of exceeding targets in a sales role within tech (BDR/Account Manager/Account Executive)
  • Experience in a data driven sales role
  • Extensive experience running campaigns via Salesforce
  • Strong experience successfully coaching and leading team members to achieve performance goals
  • Validated ability to create and inspire high performing teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and build trusted relationships
