Position: CTO
Role: Remote with some visits to Dublin office
Salary: €130,000 + 10% bonus (granting of equity in the business)

Responsibilities:
-Co-create/complete the technology roadmap & execute it
-Productise and ‘platformise’ all parts of the existing client simulation services
-Be totally invested in and, take ownership & responsibility for the technology
-Design and develop the architecture of the Company’s SaaS product platform
-Manage everything in Engineering/Development/Tech resourcing (hiring, people development & coaching)
-Build, lead, manage and coordinate the technical team
-Challenge the existing leadership in terms of strategy, direction & vision relating to technology
Mandatory requirements:
1) At least 10 years of experience in a similar role
2) Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, life science, engineering or chemical industry is highly desirable
3) Previous experience in programming and scripting in Python
4) Knowledge in C++ coupled with HPC, Data Science, Linux, Fortran
5) Must be a flexible and adaptable person
6) Must think & act like an co-founder, sees the long term & proactive
7) Available to commute to Dublin
Qualifications:
-PhD degree in Computer Science, Computational Chemistry or a related field from a recognised institution
