Job Purpose:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in guiding and coordinating our product development team through the Scrum framework, helping to ensure the successful launch of the product and the continuous delivery of value to our customers as our accounts payable product takes off.
Key Responsibilities (Key Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to)
• Facilitate daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure the team adheres to Scrum principles and practices.
• Remove impediments and blockers to ensure smooth product delivery.
• Collaborate with the product function to manage the product backlog and prioritize to ensure align to the product vision and roadmap.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance within the team.
• Coach and mentor team members and others in the organisation on Agile methodologies and best practices.
• Track and report on progress, ensuring transparency and accountability of the Product Development function.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration within the team and with all stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum methodology.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Devops, Trello, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the fintech or accounts payable domain.
• Familiarity with other Agile or Project Management methodologies (e.g., Kanban, PMI).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire team members.
