📍 Location: Ingolstadt or Wolfsburg, Germany

🏠 Hybrid Working (3 days onsite)

💰 Salary: Up to 75,000 + Benefits

 

Ingenio is partnering with a leading global engineering and technology organisation to recruit an experienced Functional Developer to join a growing team working on next-generation electric vehicle charging solutions.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer with strong expertise in EV charging systems, requirements engineering, and model-based development who wants to play a key role in the development of innovative e-mobility solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

Analyse system and software requirements and identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities

Derive software requirements and software architecture from system-level requirements

Collaborate closely with software architects, requirements engineers, and customer stakeholders

Develop and validate Proofs of Concept (PoCs)

Support software development and testing activities

Review technical deliverables and ensure compliance with quality standards

Participate in planning, refinement, and implementation activities

Contribute to the development of charging and energy management functions

 

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in EV Charging / High Voltage Charging Systems (essential)

Fluent English and German language skills (minimum B2 level)

Strong background in requirements engineering and functional development

Experience within Battery Management Systems (BMS)

Experience with On-Board Charger (OBC) functions

 

 

Great to have:

Experience with MATLAB Simulink and Stateflow

Strong understanding of control algorithms

Experience with ASPICE SWE development processes

Knowledge of AUTOSAR

Programming experience in C and C++

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
