The Role: Our client is seeking a highly skilled Lead Fullstack Engineer to take ownership of their user-facing platform. This is a hands-on, high-impact position where you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and optimising a scalable, high-performance SaaS application.

This role is ideal for an ambitious and entrepreneurial engineer who thrives in a 0→1 environment, enjoys taking ownership of technical and architectural decisions, and is eager to build a category-defining product. You will work closely with leadership, customers, and early adopters to shape the future of the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead fullstack development: Architect, develop, and optimise a highly responsive and scalable enterprise SaaS application.

• Develop and maintain the frontend using modern frameworks, ensuring an intuitive and engaging user experience.

• Build and optimise the backend using Node.js, Python, or similar technologies, ensuring high performance and scalability.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, product, and AI teams to define strategy and ship cutting-edge AI and SaaS capabilities.

• Drive technical excellence: Establish best practices, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of high-quality software development.

• Mentor and support engineers, contributing to hiring and building a top-tier engineering team.

Key Requirements:

• A rising star in fullstack engineering, ready to take on ownership and early leadership in a fast-growing startup.

• 4+ years of experience in fullstack development, with a track record of rapid career progression in high-calibre engineering environments (ideally including strong startup experience).

• Deep expertise in modern fullstack development, including React, Next.js, GraphQL, TypeScript, and backend systems in Node.js, Python, or similar.

• Proven experience in developing and scaling complex UI/UX for SaaS platforms, preferably in an enterprise setting.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a passion for code quality, performance, and maintainability.

• Ownership mindset: Experience building real 0→1 products, taking full responsibility for technical decisions and long-term evolution.

• Deep appreciation of software architecture, cloud-native design, and AI-driven applications.
