Most enterprise sales roles want you to win accounts. This one expects you to build a business.

 

Ingenio is partnering with a high-growth, AI-native digital engineering consultancy to hire a Client Director in Ireland.

 

This is a true strategic enterprise services sales role, combining 50% new business development with 50% enterprise account growth and expansion.

 

You’ll be responsible for building new enterprise relationships while also growing and deepening existing strategic accounts across Ireland.

Think less transactional sales, more long-term services portfolio ownership.

 

You’ll operate like a mini CEO — building trusted enterprise partnerships capable of generating €10m+ in services revenue over time.

But unlike SaaS or product sales, you are not selling software.

You are selling engineering teams, consulting capability, and transformation delivery outcomes.

 

The opportunity:

You’ll work with senior enterprise clients navigating:

• AI transformation programmes

• Digital platform modernisation

• Cloud and data modernisation

• Software and product engineering at scale

• Legacy system replacement and integration through services-led delivery

 

Mandatory requirements (non-negotiable):

• Proven track record of owning a 50/50 split between new business acquisition and account growth in enterprise sales roles

• Experience selling consulting or professional services (not SaaS), including digital, cloud, data, AI, or engineering transformation services

• Current or recent experience selling into enterprise organisations on complex AI, data, digital, or systems transformation programmes

 

What this is NOT: (This is not suitable for candidates who have only sold)

• SaaS / software products (even enterprise SaaS)

• Telecoms / carrier / voice solutions

• Pure pre-sales or solution engineering roles

• Delivery-only consulting roles without quota responsibility

• Account management roles without new business ownership
